Welcome to the City of Fort Worth, Housing and Economic Development, Cowtown Brush Up (CTBU)!

  • CTBU is an exterior paint program
  • CTBU is a non profit program
  • CTBU has a Board of Directors
  • CTBU paints homes owned by Fort Worth for:
    • Low-income families
    • Elderly
    • Persons with disabilities

Volunteer for Cowtown Brush Up and spend one Saturday having fun with your friends, colleagues and neighbors as a Paint Team member. Your time and effort will make a difference in the community.

Goal
  • Help low-income families, particularly the elderly and persons with disabilities, maintain their homes
  • Promote neighborhood stability by improving the visual image of central city neighborhoods
  • Foster pride in homeownership and in our neighborhoods
  • Stimulate a sense of community among all of the citizens of Fort Worth
  • Impact the quality of life of our community as a whole
